I purchased the Hair Building Fibres and Activator spray for my daughter who suffers from Alopecia. The hair fibres have done a great job in disguising the patches on top and we have used the activator spray to hold in place. It has really helped my daughters confidence. We will purchase again.

What are RESTRAND Hair Building Fibres?
Our Hair Building Fibres are a naturally produced and extremely strong fibrous Keratin protein. Our keratin is sourced from sheep’s wool. It is virtually the same as the keratin found in human hair. It is chopped up to a microscopic size and dyed.
How do they work?
Thousands of tiny undetectable statically charged Keratin hair fibres cling to your hair to alleviate the appearance of fine or thinning hair.
Are RESTRAND Hair Building Fibres safe?
Yes. The fibres are completely natural and have been dermatologically tested.
What are the advantages over other materials/brands?
• As it is the same basic material as your hair it has the same characteristics including weight, density, appearance and structure. Keratin will not weigh down your hair. It also reflects light just like normal hair.
• No allergic reactions – Your own hair would not cause and allergic reaction and as the keratin found in RESTRAND is virtually the same it does not either.
• No irritation – alternatives like nylon and cotton can cause irritation to your scalp, keratin does not. RESTRAND Hair Building Fibres are also dermatologically tested so you can be sure that the are safe for your hair and scalp.
Do they look natural?
Yes. Because these fibres are 100% pure keratin, they look just like real hair. In an instant, you have a fuller head of natural-looking hair.
How often do I need to apply them?
Apply each time you wash your hair.
Do they ever get dislodged?
Once sealed with our Activator spray the fibres will stay in place until you wash your hair.
Are they be suitable for greying hair?
Yes. Apply them in your original colour of first, then sprinkle some grey fibres. You can blend the colours with your fingers until you get your desired look. You can also use this method of blending colours if you want to add in highlights to your hair.
How do I choose a shade that matches my actual hair colour?
Simply choose the one that you think is the closest match. If it turns out you do need a lighter or darker colour we will gladly exchange it.
Can I blow dry and comb my hair after applying them?
They should be applied to dry hair. Thus, there should be no need to blow dry once they have been applied. You can comb after applying them, but use a wide-toothed comb. You can also just use your fingers to style or shape your hair.
Are they waterproof?
While the fibres are sweat – and rain-resistant (once sealed), they can be washed out with shampoo.
Can they be used along with other styling products?
They can but for best results It is highly recommended that you seal the covered area using our Activator Spray.
This will give your hair a natural shine and help bring out the colour.
